ICI Southwest & ICI Letter to the FDIC on Regulations Implementing the Change in Bank Control Act

On October 29, 2024, ICI Southwest and ICI sent a letter to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation on its proposal to amend its regulations implementing the Change in Bank Control Act (CBCA). We are concerned that through the proposal, the FDIC seeks unilaterally to upset the decades long interagency administration of the CBCA by the federal banking agencies.
